Susan Martinez is a graduate of Rutgers University. She graduated with Highest Honors and honors in Spanish. She has studied and practiced mind-body spirit- healing modalities since 1981. Susan is a Certified Yoga Instructor, traditional Usui Reiki Master and Spiritual Counselor. She is also a certified high school Spanish teacher.
Susan has found great satisfaction and meaning in her own life’s journey through the practice and teaching of yoga and Reiki and she is honored to share what she has learned with others. Susan studied the Usui Reiki system of Natural Healing with Hannelore Goodwin; who studied under one of the original Reiki Masters in the United States, Reverend Master Beth Gray.
Susan teaches a variety of levels of yoga & all levels of Reiki in the traditional spirit of simplicity and loving kindness. She founded a Reiki share at the Princeton Center for Yoga and Health, sees private clients and has an office at the In-Balance Center for Living, in Flagtown, NJ.
Susan has not only trained in the healing arts and in yoga, but has also trained in mindfulness meditation and the martial arts. Susan has taught at Raritan Valley Community College, In Balance Center for Living, Princeton Center for Yoga and Health, Studio Zen, Arbor Glen and the Tao Center. She has also taught for the Flemington Recreation Department.
Susan approaches life as an opportunity for individual growth and transformation. She serves as a conduit, guiding her students on their own inward journey where they find peace, joy and the courage to trust their own Inner Wisdom.
